After graduation I started work for a cosmetics manufacturer. 

At the beginning my role comprised of product & quality management, as well as production management, but was later broadened to include the function of Safety Assessor. 

As Product and Production Manager I developed and supervised the manufacture of cosmetic products according to customer specifications, taking into consideration stability, safety and compliance to legal provisions and guidelines, including its certifications. 

Besides the regulatory grading of consumer-oriented products and safety evaluations of cosmetic products, I was responsible for the clarification of borderline cases in the areas of food, medicine, medical products and biocides. 

Since 2011 I have been working as a self-employed Safety Assessor and Consultant, supporting my customers in implementing the EU guidelines of the European Regulation on Cosmetic Products (such as the Product Information File (PIF) and notification of the CPNP) into practice, whilst also assisting with the communication with relevant authorities, suppliers and laboratories. Regular further education (such as IKW/DGK) keep me technically up-to-date. 

I enjoy being creative, developing solutions following the regulatory framework without losing the direct contact to my customers.
